Like the traditional landscape paintings, the goal here is to
pretty much paint it like I see it, but with room for some interpretation. Most of these paintings are done
plein air, on location
in Tahiti or Hawaii, (but I'll paint anywhere there are palm trees,
honestly) so they represent "sketches" or "notes" I'll use later if I'm going to
make a larger painting. There are a few larger finished paintings on this page
as well.
